Sullivan is a polished writer but his recent rants regarding the President cause me to view anything he writes with a jaundiced eye.

Sullivan went to a school in England well known for producing traitors and turncoats. Some of the most closely guarded Allied secrets of WWII were betrayed to the Soviets by British intellectuals who were recruited as undergrads at Cambridge University. He then edits the New Republic and after that stint apparently has an epiphany and becomes a conservative.

Alas, a leopard does not change its spots and Sullivan is now back to carping like the good Liberal (oxymoronic?) that I always thought he was as he goes one and on about the President and spouting about how he can't support him and bogus Liberal mantras like that.

He may write well on the blogosphere but you can't trust his commentary on politics. While Kerry changes his positions at warp speed, Sullivan, these days, is not far behind.
