R.I.P.

I didn't know what to add to the many fine tributes to Pat Tillman, then it seemed as if everything had been said....until I read Sgt Hook.

God Bless Sgt Tillman and keep Sgt Hook safe.

When I hear Pat Tillman wanted to be a Ranger, I had my reservations. I remembered what it was like in a Ranger Battalion 14 years ago. I thought to myself, "I doubt that a pampered professional athlete will put up with that lifestyle". Then I heard nothing about him for two years, even through the Ranger Assocation e-mails. Turns out he was a pretty good Ranger after all. He was driven for all the right reasons. That man will be a ledgend in Ranger lore. He is the essence of what we should expect of our men. A patriot who loved his country for what it was. He paid the ultimate price for his belief in his country.

God bless his family. I just pray that there are thousands of families that raise their sons to be the man that Pat seems to have been.

I guess as Charlie Rangel complains about the country being served by the poorest he doesn't know much about Special Ops units which have many guys how come from well off families.

Rest in peace Ranger...RLTW.
