MoDo was obviously in a coma during the Clinton-Gore years. Or perhaps I missed Clinton's opposition to the House Of Saud and his refusal to placate the Saudi's to insure oil flows to our good friends in Europe?
Clinton couldn't stop himself from kissing up to King Faud after it was no longer in his job description. The NYT wasn't any too happy about the cosy relationship between the Clinton WH and Saudi Arabia prior to our involvement in the Balkans either.
NYT editorial, January 2, 1996:

Pity Mo doesn't bother to do a zot of research or fact checking...of course that would get in the way of her agenda...it's not as if she doesn't have access to the archives of the "newspaper of record."
